January 5, 6:30pm. Toasty Toe Warmers
If you enjoyed Sharons “Potato Baker Bag” class then you will love this class. Sharon has agreed to show us how to make this great January project.
We will supply the instructions and filler material - all you need to bring is 1/2 yard of fabric (no quilting cottons, bring a duck cloth or heavy deco fabric) and 100% cotton sewing thread, your machine and basic sewing supplies. The fabric should not have any nylon or synthetic content - it should also be 100% cotton. JoAnn Fabrics has a nice selection, but if you have some extra from your stash, bring that along to share with your guild members.
So join us in January to keep your sewing machines going and your toes toasty warm!! Fat Quarter Drawing Winter Wonderland (snowflakes, snowmen/women, blues, whites, winter whites, etc)

Local Quilt Artist, Mary Bauer will teach our March 15 day meeting class. She will be demonstrating and explaining ways to finish the edge of your quilts. Some of the finishes covered will be prairie points, ruffles, corded and piped bindings.
All skill levels will find this class helpful and will be especially interesting for those looking to enter their quilts in competitions like the Ky State Fair.
The class will start at 10:00 and there will also be a question/answer time afterwards. Bring something to take notes on and be prepared to learn a ton!
